Living with No Regrets

Living with No Regrets

Jumping into 2019 like… ✨
2 Timothy 4:7
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

Wouldn’t it be so amazing if at the end of every year we could confidently say that we lived out 2 Timothy 4:7? This is my goal for December 31, 2019 because it outlines what living with no regrets is all about.

I don’t know about you, but 2018 definitely lived up to feeling like a fight as 2 Timothy 4 explains! If your year felt like one jab after another, I can totally sympathize.

If I have learned anything from 2018 it’s that we will never regret choosing God. Choosing to walk with Him when it’s not always popular, choosing to trust Him when our circumstances don’t make sense, choosing to have faith when the bottom falls out, choosing to forgive because that’s what God calls us to do.

My prayer for 2019 is that we would place our hope in God continually looking to him. Knowing that He is with us every step of the way…even when things don’t go as planned.

But also realizing that the greatest way to live with no regrets isn’t trying harder to be a better person or making a bunch of resolutions to try & live up to but simply loving God. Because when we’re loving God our hearts will be turned towards him wanting to obey and serve him with all that we have!

As with any year, I’m hopeful for 2019! Praying and believing that it will be an amazing one.

So this year let’s live with NO REGRETS
• Loving God with everything we have (Deuteronomy 6:5).
• Striving to love others unconditionally (1 John 4:20, Matthew 22:39).
• Obeying God as a result of our love for Him (John 14:15).
• Forgiving as the Lord forgives us (Colossians 3:13).
• Working hard for the Lord (Colossians 3:23).
• Making the best use of the time (Ephesians 5:16)
